About us

Hey!
My name is Tarah Larson and I am a wife, mother of three, and former pastor’s kid. I have spent my life being passionate about the Bride of Christ. As a Bible teacher and author, I have dedicated my heart to the ministry of God; the ministry of reconciliation. I am a recipient of grace, often fumbling along on the path that lies in front of me and constantly ask the questions, “What do You want me to know, Lord? What do You want me to do?” My greatest desires in ministry are two-fold, minister to the ministers and evangelize to the apostate. I am hopelessly optimistic, desperately flawed, and wholeheartedly loved.

Our Testimony

The Unseen Church Ministries’ vision is to provide resources and opportunities for the most overlooked demographic in the American Church; pastors and their families. By partnering with counseling programs, retreat centers, and other ministers, as well as holding conferences and speaking engagements, we will be facilitating a culture in which our shepherds get healing, rest, and encouragement as they continue in their call to tend the flock.
Nearly 30 years ago, a church was birthed in the heart of Seattle. What started out as a small group of young families quickly became the fastest growing church in America and Seattle’s first non-denominational mega church. In the growing, the pastors and their children learned a brutal lesson; a life without discipleship, love, and transparency will entrap even the most fervent servants of God. The church eventually fell, leaving thousands in the wake of its demise. In 2010, Tarah Larson, the daughter of co-founding pastor, Lief Moi, received a call from the Lord, “Minister to the ministers.”
It wasn’t until 2023 that she understood what that would look like in practice. This “ministry to the ministers” had to be more than a series of inspirational messages, it needed substance, it needed relationship. Life changing work only happens in the context of intimacy. To many, that intimacy is scarier than the most dangerous assignment in the mission field. This intimacy requires a trust deeper than most pastors are ever afforded. In a day and age where every word is recorded and every movement scrutinized, where is that that pastors and PKs can be safe? Where can they be undone? To whom can they confess even the most appalling of struggles? Where can they find rest?
This ministry was birthed with a purpose to gather the unseen, the broken, and the hurting and provide a pathway to the Father’s arms. This is a place to be seen by the Son, Jesus Christ, and receive the comfort of the Holy Spirit. It is a ministry in which people can be people, warts and all, and run the race of life set before them, equipped and armored up for the many battles ahead.
